We announced some time ago that we would require OpenJDK 17 for JournalSuite in the future and that we will stop supporting Oracle Java 1.8 and thus also Oracle Webstart. That time is now approaching.
The released JournalSuite version 7.10 will probably be the last Java 1.8 compatible version. As an alternative to Oracle Webstart, OpenWebstart is supported and we offer bundle apps that do not require Java for desktop clients. Please check with your colleagues and customers what measures need to be taken.
